Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a multimodal therapy aimed at the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of neuromusculoskeletal disorders. A combination of physical therapy and manual therapy techniques are utilized to promote appropriate recovery. It is an evidence-based therapy providing effective treatment for a variety of musculoskeletal and sporting / workplace injuries using various treatment modalities applying to neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation / post-operative rehabilitation / preventative care / sport and workplace injury management / tailored management plans / corrective exercise.


Functional Rehabilitation

Uses various techniques based on returning to optimal physical function. Functional rehabilitation focuses on improving strength and stability (proprioception) throughout muscles, joints and ligaments. This aims to enhance the coordination and motion of the individual so that they may perform their activities/sport at a full capacity and prevent future injury.


Vestibular Rehabilitation

Vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) is an exercise-based treatment modality aiming to promote vestibular and visual adaptation. The primary goals of VRT are to improve gaze stability, enhance postural stability and enhance activities of daily living. Vestibular recovery is obtained via multi-sensory stimulation involving head-eye movements, vestibular adaptation exercises, repositioning therapy for vertigo, and gait exercises, to name a few. Vestibular rehabilitation therapy is indicated for conditions including vertigo (including BPPV), dizziness, traumatic brain injury, peripheral vestibular conditions as well as many other central lesions.
